First Count
04:38
|
|||
We are living in the lightness
Until it falls apart
Idle in the wastelands
Our hands in the sand
Never listen to the madness
This is who we are
High in the chain of command
Our pleasure on demand
For something isn’t real right here we know
It probably is the air the wind
This feeling is weird and will not go
It probably is the air the wind or the snow
Fallen angels
on the earth of delights
Pearls at the sides of our eyes
That dropped from the skies
We will lay down
Staring way above
Waiting for the first counts
Our backs on the ground
For something isn’t real right here we know
It probably is the air the wind
This feeling is weird and will not go
It probably is the air the wind or the snow

Seasonable
05:01
|
|||
Trick our eyes
Deny where all this trouble starts
We still have time
Scratch our head
Until our bare skull comes apart
We still have time
Even when the sun will fall
And featherless birds will walk
We’ll have still have time
So reach out to me
When the summer goes
Or lasted too long
To be seasonable and cold

My Windy Heart
04:10
|
|||
To recreate the one I needed
I just demanded myself to be it
Trusted the pictures I was seeing
Though half of it had disappeared
I talked too much in empty rooms
Walked in silence all in loop
Waited for someone to fill
All the holes I had
In every part of my heart
My windy heart

On Their Knees
05:22
|
|||
They will dance by your side
A slow and hopeless waltz
That will never disguise
Their clumsy feet's faults
A single look in their eyes
Will make them step on your toes
Will they stay in your mind
Goodwill humans at all ?
They only left to prevent you from being
forced to be dealing with them
on their knees
Your cherished beauty will fade into a dream
and soon you will fall asleep
on their knees
One could have seen it all coming
All predictable and clear
You will dance by yourself now
a troubleless waltz
the same your elders demised to you
when you were that brillant child
That every person around
Secretly admired
A ghost that led you to star
The favorite act of their lives
They only left to prevent you from being
forced to be dealing with them
on their knees
Your cherished beauty will fade
just a dream, a part of something you found
on their knees
One could have seen it all coming
All predictable and clear

Asylee
07:24
|
|||
She faulted earth to be unlike
Stars and planets dead and bright
Lost in darkness
Way beyond our time
Sorrow slowly gnawed her mask
And hid her smile from human eyes
Avoided mirrors
Stayed away from light
She’s asylee
While we’re waiting she flees
Everything she knew was cracked
Cups and glasses all alike
Covered with dust
Million years at sight
Sorrow slowly gnawed her mask
And hid her smile from human eyes
Avoided mirrors
Stayed away from light
She’s asylee
While we’re waiting she flees

They tore it down these days
The old garage
That wasn’t really used for years
And left to age
But we didn’t even see the cranes
We turned away
And they took the house we let them take
None of us had time to rage
Or try to save
A little scrap of wall and paint
We stole away
But I wonder what you would say
And how you felt that day
You left the house we let them take

We lost our love for poetry
Most of our youth and sanity
Extracted life out of our seeds
Nourished our sole heredity
We based our faith on tragedy
Carefully planned immunity
Like every insect from the tree
We flew to the sun, exploited wind
We came back clean
But will not save
Our self-esteem
Our wildest dream is amnesty
Whatever the cost our pocket sees
Every street’s a strategy
Layers of tubes and energies
We placed our hopes for dignity
On self-learning schemes and entities
Locked our doors and embassies
We’ll hop on a ship and brave the seas
We’ll come back clean
But will not save
Our self-esteem
